Generally I would highly recommend this place. The interior is much more subdued and relaxing than most other similar places (noise level is similar, however, but acceptable). It is a hit and miss affair though. While the foot rubs tend to be of fairly predictably high and reliable standard, the body massages can vary depending on the masseur (obviously). Once I got a body massage that was among the best I have got in years, the next time among the least pleasant I’ve ever had (with the masseur sniffling, coughing, even farting during the perfunctory session). Still, it is well managed, a pleasant place and recommended for some time out time in busy Manhattan.

Mar 03, 2025 · Steve KokkerI’ve been going to Renew Body Wellness for 5 years and their customer service and product is amazing! Atmosphere is dark, quiet, and relaxing. Danny is my guy, but all of the massage therapists are good, you can’t go wrong. Highly recommend!
Jan 16, 2025 · Brianna BakerWorst massage ever! We went here because my friend and I were visiting the city and we really didn’t have any recommendations. We just look around the area and this one seems nice due the high score of the reviews. So we thought: let’s do it!! At first everything was nice. We thought we were in the right track cause it was actually busy inside. We wait a bit and soon we got inside to the get the massage done. First of all the massager couldn't communicate properly. Then it became really rough moves and every now and then with a “sexy” voice (which really cringe me out) she’d ask if everything was ok. I asked her to slow down and be more gentle but that never happened. I could write more details but all I can say is that it was a hurting nightmare. Afterwards, we went to the cashier to pay and she’d followed me all the way and stand just right there hopping for cash tip. I was shocked. I paid and leave. During the same afternoon, my neck and back ached so badly and today I’m having a 8 hours flight all the way to Spain. So, if you read this and you’re looking for something relaxing and good, DEFINITELY THIS IS NOT YOUR PLACE.
Mar 13, 2025 · Antonio Aday Ríos AlonsoTLDR: The front desk employee, Abby, is rude and unprofessional. She insisted on a good review before my appointment and hung up on me while I was speaking. Go elsewhere, many massage places nearby where they’re nice, friendly, and professional. I've been a loyal customer at Renew Body Wellness for years (even brought many friends here), but my last visit was a mess. My friend and I arrived for our appointment only to find they didn’t record our reservation. I left my information and Abby later called to offer one free massage; I requested two since they did not honor our original appointment for two massages. She promised to check with her manager but never followed up. When I called back, she finally agreed to two massages. However, after scheduling, she insisted on a good review beforehand and hung up when I said I’d leave a review after our appointment (who’s to say she wouldn’t record our appointment again?). I won't return due to her poor customer service and unprofessionalism, giving two stars instead of one because the other staff are great and I’ve otherwise never had an issue besides this.
Dec 21, 2024 · NehaBelow par. While the massage itself was good, the masseuse was talking the entire duration which I found to be very disruptive. They were pushing us to get dressed and get out and snickered even after I tipped 15%. (P.S. it’s cash only)
