OMG. 😧 At first blush, it appears to be just one of those non-descript massage parlors you’ll find through out the NYC metropolitan area… However, here are a few bullet points on why I give Peng’s Body Work at the 86 Bowery location 4 stars… •Rates are VERY reasonable for the quality of service you receive. i.e. An hour and 15 minutes is $65! PAY WITH CASH AND ALLOW FOR TIP IN YOUR BUDGET •The service itself is OUTSTANDING. They combine deep and soft tissue throughout the massage specifically tailored to your body. You will not leave there in pain, you’ll leave in euphoria. •They are PROFESSIONAL (no hanky panky 😅) very courteous and they don’t skimp on the time. •The location is immaculate and accessible via the MTA •They have an excellent reputation because their masseuses are very well trained

Jan 21, 2025 · L.A. PalmerSpa Front entrance is next to pharmacy. It is nice and clean & quiet. Receiption right at the door, staff acting profession, but need improve. Today, I have Masseur, Mr Lee who has 7yrs experience, he knew where my back muscle got pain and tension without telling him. His kneading and patting skill should be good. One good thing they didn't demand any tips but i gave him above $10 for incentive. To be fair, they need to improve massage field English, if they do, I think it should be one of best Spa in Manhattan.
Dec 05, 2017 · Winson ChanI called ahead and they had no record of it. When I arrived there was only one person there. He was not able to communicate much. It was a couples massage and after many rounds of repeating ourselves we communicated that a second person was coming. The towels in the massage table were stained and the towel they used to cover you was damp. Afterwards, the guy insisted that I give a tip using my credit card for the recommended amount for tipping in their sign. I tried to give him ten dollars cash but he handed it back to me and kept pointing to the sign with the recommended tipping amount. I expected a low frills Chinatown massage and got a dirty, uncomfortable experience. Even at the Groupon rate, it isn’t worth it.
Jul 12, 2023 · K. A. KeenerJust got a 1h foot massage there. Some of the staff was literally screeching at each other in Chinese, I could hear them even with my noise cancelling AirPods. The massage itself was pretty good $38 + tax and after I gave her 8$ tip the lady asked for $10 which is 26%!!! « If you feel good you tip more ». The balls!!! Told her 20% is more than average in service and restaurant industry. She responded « this not restaurant ». Left the place and I’ll NEVER return.
Apr 16, 2023 · Anthony UtardThey demanded a 30% tip for a 1 hour foot massage. The massage was fine and I tipped what I thought was reasonable. (20%) The guy at the front desk made a rude comment about it and I felt very uncomfortable. If you want more money, charge higher prices. Every massage place in Chinatown charges similar prices for their services but I haven’t seen any demand specific tips from their clients. I will not be returning but will continue to go to Renew Day Spa just a few doors down the block.
