If you see massage as a form of Eastern Medicine, you'll feel so refreshed and relaxed after a deep tissue massage with hot stones and essential oils fron Coco. My entire body was sore the day after in the best way (Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness), so I could really tell that she worked on my problem areas seriously and with ample pressure for my own needs. Keep an open mind and absolutely communicate with your massage therapist if you're uncomfortable. NY Dreamland on 49th will absolutely accommodate you, but you must be transparent if you are looking for a more gentle experience. Coco was very attentive when I pointed out an area that was painful at normal pressure. They've gained a loyal customer out of me, and I've been to 5-10 different Spas across NYC over the past few years.

And one other thing, I want to point out - the face cushion was nice and comfy…so many of the less expensive massage places have flat cushions…I appreciate it when my face doesnt hurt when getting a massage!

This place is so consistent & so good … I’ve had 3 different ppl & all were excellent & I felt they cared about what they’re doing. It’s so good I started going about once a week - especially on a Sunday to help with the stress of Monday looming. I’ve been 7 or 8 times now, maybe more & I’ve not been disappointed yet. Nice & friendly ppl that I feel good giving money to. Good space too. Prices are a bit higher than the ‘Chinatown’ style places I used to go, but so much better value + for me I can walk home after instead of a bus/train. If you’re tempted just give it a try - that’s what I thought & I was glad I did.
