I had an amazing first experience at Heyday Upper East Side, and I have to give a special shoutout to the incredible staff. From the moment I walked in, Eve at the front desk greeted me with a bright smile and made me feel welcome. She checked in on me throughout the process, ensuring I had everything I needed, which I truly appreciated. My facial was with Anna, and I cannot recommend her enough. She was not only welcoming but also incredibly informative. She took the time to explain everything thoroughly and made me feel completely at ease. As a Black man, I appreciated how comfortable she made the experience, and on top of that, she was a great conversationalist. I’d book with her again any day. Lastly, I want to acknowledge Marilyn, the manager, who went out of her way to ensure my first visit was nothing short of exceptional. Working in sales and customer service myself, I know how valuable great service is, and this team truly delivered. Heyday, I hope you treasure these three associates because they made my experience outstanding. I’ll definitely be back!

This was my first time at HeyDay and I was excited after seeing such positive reviews. I will describe my experience so you can determine if it appeals to you: The space: - the upstairs facial area is open space with dividers in between each 'room' which means you can hear everything. I learned a ton about Disney world and the Magic Kingdom from the woman next to me - the music wasn't typical spa music but rather spa-like electronica. at one point it was just a bunch of dissonant chords. - you can hear the sinks being turned on/off and what procedures your neighbors are getting - the front desk staff called me to come in early as they had a cancellation. I arrived 45 minutes early. After checking in, they had me wait in the upstairs waiting room. After 20 minutes of waiting, I went back downstairs to see what was going on. After the front desk looked around for a bit, she discovered that the skin therapist didn't get the message that they'd moved me earlier. - The treatment bed was up against a wall so I couldn't stretch my legs out fully without hitting the wall. I'm 5'7. The facial ($145+tip): - To start, my skin therapist put a towel around my neck and a headband on to keep my hair and clothes dry/clean. I'm used to facials at this price, giving neck/shoulder massages. Not at HeyDay. - The skin therapist applied and removed different ointments. After each product she took her gloves off and put on new ones so went through 6+ gloves in a 50 minute period. - No facial steamer. - She left a lukewarm towel on my face for 2+ minutes so my pores would be more open to extraction. - She used a tool to extract from my nose. No extractions from any other area. - She applied a sheet mask. Scalp Treatment Add-on ($80+tip): - The skin therapist applied oil to the top part of my scalp and then rubbed my head in the same place- not moving her fingers around. - My head wasn't turned to either side to get access to my whole scalp and she didn't lift my head up to get underneath. - At some point she used some sort of head massager to comb the parts where she'd applied oil. Just the top part of the scalp. - I asked if she could vary her movements as it's not comfortable to have one area massaged for minutes at a time. - This add-on is done while the sheet mask is on so despite the price tag, it doesn't add time to your service. The therapist was sweet and kind. I felt bad for being so disappointed in the service because she wasn't rude. She offered me a free LED service which was maybe 5-10 minutes of a LED mask on my face over the sheet mask she'd already put on. This would normally be a $50 add-on service. The front desk staff gave me $40 off when I shared about my experience. Without the discount, my whole service would have been $225+tip. Is this normal for UES?

I had my first (in a verrry long time) facial with Elizabeth and enjoyed every part of the process! She was super gentle and did a great job at explaining every step of the process, analyzing my skin type, and making recommendations for my skincare products. I saw immediate noticeable results with my pores and skin texture. 10/10, I signed up for a membership so I'll be back every month! :) The front desk staff was super friendly and so helpful, I felt very welcomed. (( My only general suggestion is to please clearly mark in the store area which products are vegan (also if there was a way to select "vegan only" products/services for the treatment that would be amazing) ! ))

Heyday facials have been the key to bringing my skin back to life. I consistently get compliments on my glow. Johnathan is the main reason. He know exactly what my skin needs each visit and gives me an individualized treatment. The membership package is totally worth it and makes it easy for keep coming back.
