This review is long overdue - I visited AIRE Ancient Baths a couple of years ago, and the experience has stayed with me ever since. I first saw a photo of the baths in one of the promo emails by another service and I couldn’t wait to check it out. The place didn’t disappoint - it was a wonderful experience. The atmosphere was calm, serene, and beautifully designed, exactly as I had imagined from the photos. Everything about that evening felt elevated and special. I went on a cold snowy day and it was so great to be there, meditate, help my body relax and raise that serotonin level 😉. I liked the variety of baths with a range of temperatures, and the way the space was kept uncrowded to maintain a sense of peace. It reminded me of the best thermal bath experiences I’ve had - in Zurich. My favorite was, as in any spa that has them, the meditation pool. They call it a Flotarium here, I believe: it is a high-salinity pool designed to provide a unique floating experience. You can float and listen to a meditative soundtrack underwater, and I love it! I didn’t try any of the massage services, as I wanted to fully enjoy the baths, but I will definitely go back. I’ve been looking for something similar on the West coast where I live now, but i haven’t found it yet. I will go back!

The interior is very fancy, the amenities like the Dyson hairdryers and L'Occitane products are nice, but for the amount of money that I spent it felt like a sham. The baths weren't fantastic. The salt pool was relaxing, but the salt scrub they have next to it is so abrasive it sliced my arms open. The jet pool was nice but not very warm. The "hot" baths weren't very hot, and even the cold plunges weren't cold. The staff were very kind and friendly which is why I put two stars instead of one. I wouldn't go back here though, as much as it pains me to say.

I recently had the pleasure of spending a day at Aire Ancient Bathhouse, and it was truly a phenomenal experience from start to finish. Upon arrival, I was warmly greeted by the staff, who offered me a refreshing glass of virgin sparkling champagne and a piece of decadent chocolate, such a thoughtful and luxurious touch that immediately set the tone for the day. The ambiance of the bathhouse was serene and calming, with soft lighting and soothing music creating the perfect atmosphere for relaxation. The different temperature pools were a highlight of the experience. I especially enjoyed moving between the hot, warm, and cold pools, each providing a unique and rejuvenating experience. The hot pools eased my muscles, while the cooler ones invigorated my senses, and the contrast between the temperatures felt incredibly therapeutic. Throughout my time at Aire, every staff member was exceptionally kind and attentive, ensuring I had everything | needed while respecting my space. The attention to detail and the overall quality of the spa experience made it feel like a true escape from the everyday. From the peaceful atmosphere to the luxurious treatments and thoughtful touches, my time at Aire Ancient Bathhouse was an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend it for anyone seeking a relaxing and rejuvenating day of self care. The perfect place for couples mostly. By the way, this was at the new location on the Upper East Side, on its opening day! There’s nothing better than being among the first to use the space, without having to worry about cleanliness or hygiene concerns!!!

The best bathhouse in the states. I come here fairly often.. worth every penny. Place is magical. I always have a relaxing and restorative experience. Each and every staff member goes above and beyond. Massages are great. Place is extremely clean. Gorgeous ambiance.. every touch thought through. Everyone needs to visit at least once in their lifetime (you’re going to want to go back 1000 more times)

You needa prepaid! Not worth of your $$$$ We called made an appointment at 9pm. They cancelled it because you didn’t pay within two hours before the service was provided. The means If you are NOT able to make it for some reason, they take the whole amount around $183 bucks. The environment is not as good as it advertised. It’s super dark inside you can barely see. The decoration there is not worthy of your money. If you go to sojo spa club in New Jersey you can see the manhattan view and it’s cheap not time limited. They limited 90 minutes per person. Here you see nothing just 6 pools which nothing special to waste your almost 200 bucks. I tired and will not going back anymore. So don’t waste your 💰
