Aescape Massage at Lotte New York Palace

Beautiful luxurious space, lovely spa atmosphere, and the massage itself was surprisingly good. Love that you can control the pressure. The robotic pads are warm and somehow manage to find knots and work them. Great booking and so easy to change the time. I had to change a couple of times and there was no need to call - just went online and shifted my appointment an hour before and it was smooth and easy. I love a good human massage too, but this was a really great experience. Will be back :)

I enjoyed my Aescape Experience @ Lotte Palace! I was warmly welcomed to the hotel and after asking, I was directed to the Spa. It wasn't entirely clear where to go, but staff were happy to help. The Spa attendant was fantastic - he welcomed me to the Spa with a drink and then showed me the included amenities and the Aescape table. The locker room has an amazing Sauna/Steam room + facility. Overall, great experience.

the staff was really warm and welcoming. i got a robo-back massage, which was super cool, and then used the steam room after (which is included at no extra cost). i was pretty impressed by the tech behind the robot massage - it lets you adjust all the settings, and you can always see where the arms are. the only downside (which wasn’t a big deal) is that you have to wear skintight clothes, but makes sense for sanitary reasons

Wow, wow, wow. I didn’t expect to be leaving a positive review. I’m not going to lie - I went in with the mindset that this is going to be cold robot arms touching me and I left thinking the opposite. Got a 45 min massage that covered shoulders down to my hamstrings (im a runner so hamstrings was make or break for me) The staff here was super knowledgeable, guided me to a waiting room where there was fruit water and snacks while they got the table set up. I waited 5 minutes and then they guided me to the room, walked me through how it’s going to work (but the table does that too when you start) Massage was a 9.5/10 - the only point it lost was that I wish there was a way to entirely shut off the screen, I liked picking my customizations in the beginning but I just wanted to sleep afterwards. Maybe there was and I missed it but other than that it was AMAZING. Heated hands, pressure was great, music selection was so nice (rlly appreciated not just having to listen to spa music). Used the sauna and steamroll afterwards. Great price, great staff, will be back. (The other lady in the waiting room was telling me about how she swears by their Collagen Facial, so will be back for another robot-massage followed by a facial.

Tried the robot massage at this spa with my boyfriend and was pleasantly surprised how good it was. Only downside is that there is only 1 table so my boyfriend and I went back to back instead of at the same time like a couples massage. Worked out fine because while he massaged I used the steamroom and vice versa. Nice escape from the nyc madness.
