Q~ Are your ingredients Certified Organic?
A~ In order to make the claim “Certified Organic” you must obtain a certification from the USDA. We do not claim our products to be Certified Organic but our organic line does contain some Certified Organic indgredients. It is made with 70% organic ingredients and organic essential oils. You may notice some of our products contain USDA Certified Organic essential oils and the manufacturer of that product holds the certification. While we are working on bringing you some Certified Organic products we have made sure that all our formulas are free of parabens and SLS and we have worked with our formulators to ensure the highest grade natural ingredients and essential oils.

Q~ What are parabens and are they bad for me?
A~ Parabens are used as preservatives in the cosmetic and beauty industry. Typically butylparaben, ethylparaben, methylparaben, propylparaben is what you will find in your beauty products. There are lots of studies being done and some say they are not safe and some say they are perfectly safe. We have chosen to eliminate parabens in our Ec-Oooh Chic line of products. But we recommend you do your own research and make your own conclusions.

Q~ What is SLS?
A~ SLS ~ also known as sodium lauryl or laureth sulphate is commonly found in personal care products and is a surfactant (detergent) a foaming agent and has been said to cause dryness of the skin. Some "Natural" lines make the claim that their SLS is derived from coconut oil, while this is the base for SLS it is combined with other molecules and atoms which then does not classify it to be  natural. Again we recommend you do your own research and make your own conclusions.

Q~ What is the difference between natural essential oils and fragrance oils?
A~ Fragrance oils or flavor oils are blended synthetic compounds or often essential oils that have been diluted with a carrier oil such as propylene glycol, vegetable oil, or mineral oil. Most commonly used in perfumes, cosmetics and the flavoring of foods.
Essential oils are plant derived and all natural.

Q~ How do I know which products are organic and which are natural?
A~ All of our Ec~Oooh~Chic products are made with “Natural” ingredients, (no chemicals as described above) we have categorized our products as such.

Q~ Do you test on animals?
A~ NEVER!!! We are huge animal lovers here at Ooohlala. As a matter of fact you can see on our website exactly how each product is tested. 
 
Choosing the product that is right for you

Ec~Oooh~Chic Organic line is made from at least 70% organic ingredients and fragranced either naturally or with Certified Organic essential oils. It can easily be spotted with this brown “Organic” logo right on the label.

Ec~Oooh~Chic All Natural line is made from all natural ingredients and fragranced with natural essential oils and has no added coloring and can easily be spotted with this bright green “All Natural” logo right on the label.

Ec~Oooh~Chic Natural still uses the same natural ingredients as above, is still paraben and SLS free but is fragranced with a blend of essential and fragrance oils and FDA approved coloring and can easily be spotted with this pink “Natural” logo right on the label.

If you do not see one of these logos on your product it is NOT all natural or organic and could contain TEA, Parabens and SLS. Our original Ooohlala of Beverly Hills line may contain one or more of these ingredients.
